We are currently seeking entry level Project Engineers who are responsible for assisting Project Managers by providing support and guidance focusing on implementing company safety policies, RFIs, processing purchase orders, project scheduling and updates to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

  • Gather, prepare, review, and distribute submittals. Manage the submittal schedule, logs, registry, and the procurement process.
  • Address and resolve daily issues and concerns with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project staff
  • Attend and actively participate in project meetings and take and distribute minutes
  • Prepare, review, and distribute RFI logs and registries, new drawings, changes, approved submittals, and other project information to all affected parties
  • Process, review, and maintain PCOs
  • Create, monitor, and update project schedules and contact lists for jobs
  • Develop and maintain engineering O&M manuals and submittal books using engineering practices
  • Assist with buying out projects
  • Perform safety talks with subcontractors to ensure all on-site employees and subcontractors perform work in a safe and efficient manner complying with site and OSHA-specific requirements
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owners and subcontractors to help facilitate the timely completion of projects


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
  • Minimum one year experience in the construction industry
  • Must be able to read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications
  • Ability to gather data, create, compose, and edit written materials and reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to work beyond scheduled work hours on a regular basis to meet construction project schedules
  • Valid NY state driver's license is required to travel to project sites throughout the Northeast. Position may require evening and/or weekend hours in addition to being on-call before/after normal work hours.
